Goo Yuck Big Time!

In science earlier this year, while we were studying Matter, we made a concoction called "Goo Yuck". It's a mixture of corn starch and water. When mixed correctly, you get a mixture hat is hard to define as either a solid or a liquid. In fact it becomes a Non-Newtonian fluid. Click here of a definition of what a Non-Newtonian fluid. An example of a Newtonian fluid is water.

The following is a video I ran across that has taken our Goo Yuck to new heights, or lows, as the case may be. This appears to me to be some sort of game show stunt or something where they demonstrate quite well the properties of a Non-Newtonian fluid.
Seems they have filled a pool with the corn starch and water solution.

Somewhat lengthy, but be sure to stay with it long enough to see the one guy sink in the mixture as the others run past him. They seem to be having too much fun!
